General Manager DACH (M/W/D)

As we are expanding our horizon and growing rapidly, we are looking for a true sales and people manager to guide our DACH facility software area with a direct link to the Planon Board.

Key Responsibilities:


As our GM DACH you will be P&L responsible as for the daily management of our subsidiaries in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You serve as a strategic partner to the sales management, overseeing operations, and actively contributing to business expansion.

You will connect with our global teams to implement and execute activities to expand our value proposition for brand awareness and market share gain locally. You will collaborate with our shared service centre to drive business operations for the region. You will build new relationships through strategic initiatives that make us a strong part of the facility industry in the region.

Key Activities:

  • Overall responsible for achieving P&L results and growing the business in the DACH region;
  • All Sales & Account Management activities in the DACH region;
  • All Services, Partner, Channel Management and marketing activities;
  • Responsibility for all activities regarding Finance, administration, HR, legal and other general affairs.

Division of tasks:

  • 1,5 days a week Finance and HR activities (collaboration with the shared service centre and board);
  • 2.5 days a week sales (client and event visits, approvals, offers, customer and contract negotiations, product or project escalations);
  • 1 day Remaining activities (Services, Marketing departments).

Profil

  • Experience as a managing director of a software company;
  • Knowledge of the DACH area (Facility/Real Estate/Workplace industry experience would be a plus);
  • Large customer sales minded and a generalist (knowledgeable in the areas of finance, legal and HR (country-specific laws);
  • Clever, communicative (up to C level), global oriented and cultural minded;
  • Fluent in German and English (speaking and writing);
  • Living in the area Frankfurt – Düsseldorf would be ideal, but not absolutely necessary.
