Pre-Sales Engineer

Planon, the largest Integrated Workspace Management Solutions (IWMS) provider in the enterprise software market, is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer. With over $45M in annual revenues, Planon is looking for ambitious individuals who want to be part of a winning team.

Responsibilities

Based in our Braintree, MA office, the Pre-Sales Engineer is a key member of the US field sales team responsible for driving revenue by creating and delivering customized demonstrations to close new opportunities in the Integrated Workplace Management Solution (IWMS)/ Facility Management (FM) market. Pre-Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the field sales force. Pre-Sales Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for Planon.

The Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for articulating technology and product positioning to both business and technical users by:

· Identifying all technical and functional issues in every stage of the sales process and then creating and delivering customized product demonstrations to address those issues.

· Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.

· Representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.

· Traveling to customer sites throughout North America.

· Establishing and maintaining strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

The Pre-Sales Engineer must have the following Mandatory requirements. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

· 5 to 10+ years of Enterprise Software Pre-Sales experience, OR

· 5 to 10+ years of IWMS / Facilities / Real Estate Software Consulting experience with other IWMS software companies

· Must be based in the Boston, MA Area.

Additional requirements are as follows:

· A documented track record of success.

· 25% to 50% travel is required.

· HTML coding experience is a PLUS.

· JavaScript coding experience is a PLUS.
